Rava Ladoo

Ingredients

rava(semolina) - 1 1/2 cups
sugar- 1 1/2 cups
ghee(clarified butter) - 1/2 cup
cardamoms - 4-5 (powdered)
cashewnuts - 2 tbsp (cut into very small pieces)
raisins - 2 tbsp

Method

1) Roast the rava in the 2 tbsp ghee till light golden in colour.
2) Mix the sugar,roasted rava and cardamom and powder fine in a dry grinder.
3) Heat the remaining ghee,fry the cashewnuts and raisins.
4) Add to the rava-sugar mixture.
5) Shape into tight laddoos(small round balls).
The laddoos can be stored in an airtight container
for a few days.
